New seat belt material delivery

Got some lovely new colours delivered all the way from the sunny UK. A few suspicious glances and examinations at the security check but otherwise no problems! The dark green is really nice. Now's the time to give them exotic names. "Mint green" anyone?

design torget no

So we got our reply back from Design Torget and it was a disappointing "No thanks".

"Our jury have chosen to not take your application for product 20895 any further. The jury handle many applications every week and have therefore no possibility to explain the reasons for their decisions. Usually the product doesn't fit in with out concept or we already have similar products in our shops."

It's the same frustration as not getting any reply to the "Why don't you want to see me any more?" sms. Did I have the wrong deoderant on? Did I say something wrong? So we wonder about our application - was the price too much? Too little? Did the packaging put them off? Was there a problem that it says 'Made in Malmö?' Should we have written lots of sales pitch in the last box? We'll never know unfortunately.

Well that's one door shut - time to look at all the other doors!

Packaging meeting

We had another rewarding meeting about packaging with lots of darlings being killed. We're trying to keep it as simple as possible, as quick to make as possible, and as nice as possible. Three demands which don't always go together easily. It feels like we're getting there, even though there is a slight frustration that this packaging part is taking longer than we anticipated.

Packaging meeting

We had a good meeting about the packaging for our sebekewas. Should they be rolled up or flat? Different pieces of paper? How should the wording be? Should the name 'seat belt key wallet' always be on one line? How well can old people read? Does anyone rotate products to read the text? Stickers or sellotape? Lots and lots of questions and discussions. We're exhausted!

First catalogues

We got the first editions of our little catalogue today. They're quite matt and feel nice. A few pages and an explanation of how sebekewas came to life. We'll send them with our application to Design Torget first. Fingers crossed!
